									Basosquamous (metatypical) carcinoma
We hereby present the case of a patient age 64, diagnosed with metatypical basal cell carcinoma considered as a new entity, a distinct form of skin cancer. The case is interesting owing to the problems of differential diagnosis it arises, both clinically and histopathologically, and also owing to the commonly encountered progressions towards severe forms of the condition.
