The journal Dermatovenerologie has been included in the coverage and indexing services of EBSCO and SIIC Date Bases (SIIC DB), the data base of the Sociedad Iberoamericana de Informacion Cientifica (SIIC) beginning with number 3 of 2016.
The journal Dermatovenerologie is under evaluation for indexing in the following international databases:

The Dermatovenerologia Journal is edited by the Romanian Society of Dermatology beginning with 1956, uninterrupted since the present day, 4 times per year. It is issued in bilingual editions (Romanian and English) since 2010.
The Journal publishes original clinical, experimental or theoretical studies, from the physiological or pathological fields and other areas in connection to skin. Also, when needed, it publishes special editions with synopses from national or international dermatology conferences that take place in Romania. All manuscripts submitted are subject to peer review according to the International Comittee of Medical Journal Editors.
Acceptance for publishing is given only after the manuscript has been evaluated by three members of the editorial committee and the result is comunicated to the first author. If the manuscript is rejected, the first author also receives the reason that led to this decision.

Aim
The purpose of the Dermatovenerologia Journal is to publish original articles in connection to the cutaneous physiology and pathology fields, but also to related areas, enroling in the general effort to promote medical knowledge.
The Journal's goal is shaping and promoting dermatology research views and maintaing a dialogue and exchange of opinions concerning these researches and also their impact in the dermatology practice.
Last but not least, the Journal aims at developing clinical expertise by publishing clinical cases that require special attention.
The Journal addresses Dermatologists and other specialists interested in the Dermatology and Venereolgy fields.
